Quenelle

Today we had la quenelle for dinner. It was my second dinner with my host family. It is a famous dish from Lyon and it’s very french. I really like it and I’ve never heard of it before.

It’s defined as: A quenelle is a mixture of creamed fish, chicken, or meat, sometimes combined with breadcrumbs, with a light egg binding. It can be served vegetarian or “nature.”
